All Hallows Adult Faith Formation: The Pivotal Players

Please join us at All Hallows for our Faith Formation Program, The Pivotal Players. The program is a stimulating series of 6 one-hour sessions beginning on Thursday 21st September, 7 – 8pm, however you can join us at any time.

In this study, you’ll discover the places where St. Francis gathered a group of friars and revived the Church. See the places where St. Catherine of Siena ministered and prayed; and through unprecedented HD footage, marvel at the extraordinary art of Michelangelo, from his David statue in Florence, to the Pietà at St. Peter’s, to the Sistine Chapel.

The Six sessions – Thursday evenings 7-8pm (VIDEO followed by discussion) will focus on the following people from Vol 1 of the series:

  • 21st September: St Francis of Assisi – Who is the most famous saint? (30 mins) – Fr. Raniero Cantalamessa, Franciscan priest and preacher to the papal household.
  • 12th October: ST FRANCIS – How to find perfect joy (30 mins)

SCHOOL HOLIDAY BREAK: 25TH SEPT – 6TH OCT

  • 19th October: St. Catherine of Siena – The illiterate young woman who counselled popes (22 mins) Fr. Paul Murray, O.P., Dominican preacher and spiritual master
  • 26th October: St. Catherine – How to understand the spiritual life (35 mins)
  • 2nd November: Michaelangelo – How beauty leads people to God (45 mins) Dr. Anthony Esolen, professor of Renaissance English Literature at Providence College
  • 9th November: Michaelangelo – Have you seen this artistic masterpiece? (34 mins)
