Growing in Christ program

Dear Parishioners,

Some time ago, we did a survey of our parish, which revealed that many of you wanted to know more about your faith, so that you could encounter Jesus in a closer personal relationship.

For the past 7 months, we have been screening a fascinating series of videos, each fortnight, which do just that.  If you are interested in deepening your fait, getting to know Christ and the Scriptures better, then you will be inspired, amazed and enlightened as you journey around the world and deep into the Faith, in this series produced by Word on Fire.

In breathtaking, high definition cinematography, the beauty, goodness and truth of the Catholic Faith is illustrated in a rich multimedia experience. Journey with  acclaimed author, speaker and theologian, Bishop Robert Barron to more than 50 locations throughout 15 countries.

Each video, covering different topics of our faith, is shown twice fortnightly – Thursday evening and Saturday afternoon in the Church Hall, throughout school terms.. Each video is about 55 mins.. It does not matter if you have not seen the previous videos.

I have attached a link to Episode 1 – watch the first 5 minutes and you will see what I mean when I say that this series is truly inspiring for deeper personal faith.  Simply copy the link and paste it in your browser. If the video does not come up, please let me know. Study notes are available.
